Impetuous Arboretum

This is what I like to call an “organic assemblage” meaning I did not arrange anything specifically for the photograph. I found this glass tabletop leaning against the garage in my Chicago apartment. What I found particularly interesting was that the discarded glass leaning against the wall had created a sort of an accidental greenhouse, where a thick growth of weeds thrived in the humidity and warmth. There is something I’m drawn to about the proliferation of plant life and its abilities to find living conditions even amongst humanity’s invasive waste.
