The year is 2003 in ATX and Prospero has a mission: to take revenge on his brother who kicked him out of Volpe’s (his upscale Italian restaurant) and banished him to god-forsaken East Austin. He’s set up shop at La Isla Bonita a newly renovated, organic, fair trade, Mexican-inspired coffee shop. Along with his employees, Ariel and Calibán, they will raise the waters from Lady Bird Lake and bring to shore the boat carrying Prospero’s traitors back from a West Lake Hills wedding. He’ll get his revenge–that is, if others don’t get to him first.
